After a hiatus, I am back!!!!!!
Back to work
back to the drudgery
back to having the life sucked out of me.
Mad city lights
mad city life
people people
coming out of my eyes!
here is a song
a mountain dream
a love of love
a story of time.
Strange face, with your eyes
So pale and sincere.
Underneath you know well
You have nothing to fear.
For the dreams that came to you when so young
Told of a life
Where spring is sprung.
You would seem so frail
In the cold of the night
When the armies of emotion
Go out to fight.
But while the earth sinks to its grave
You sail to the sky
On the crest of a wave.
So forget this cruel world
Where I belong
I'll just sit and wait
And sing my song.
And if one day you should see me in the crowd
Lend a hand and lift me
To your place in the cloud.
So pale and sincere.
Underneath you know well
You have nothing to fear.
For the dreams that came to you when so young
Told of a life
Where spring is sprung.
You would seem so frail
In the cold of the night
When the armies of emotion
Go out to fight.
But while the earth sinks to its grave
You sail to the sky
On the crest of a wave.
So forget this cruel world
Where I belong
I'll just sit and wait
And sing my song.
And if one day you should see me in the crowd
Lend a hand and lift me
To your place in the cloud.

Here is the dream-catcher,' he said ...
Every m'orning I is going out and snitching new dreams to put in my bottles.' - BFG, by Roald Dahl.
Dreamy day, dreamier friends :)
And all that the BFG, Roald Dahl's Big Friendly dream-catching Giant, wanted to do with his labelled jars of captured dreams was 'to blow dreams into the bedrooms of sleeping children. Nice dreams. Lovely golden dreams. Dreams that is giving the dreamers a happy time.' But all that is possible in a world of the BFG, in a world where dreams are 'very mysterious things. They is floating around in the air like wispy-misty bubbles. And all the time they is searching for sleeping people.'

Of thoughts, whose only speech is song!

A terrorist of the spirit
The moon
which sees me where I am,
sees you where you are, probably ......
You are not alone.
Opium night
the moonlight moaning through the water,
your eyes
brimming over my face.

hyena
out of the cry
hyena
in the dry brushwood
alone
You grow inside me,
inch by inch, an immortal tree,
your branches spreading through my veins.
Inside my insides, I hear
the rustling of your leaves.
We dance ourselves dizzy
tracing gestures upon an empty sky
we dance, dance to forget
this spreading emptiness.

"It's that sort of bread: unleavened shewbread. Look at them. Now I bet it makes them feel happy. Lollipop. It does. Yes, bread of angels it's called. There's a big idea behind it, kind of kingdom of God is within you feel. First communicants. Hokypoky penny a lump. Then feel all like one family party, same in the theatre, all in the same swim. They do. I'm sure of that. Not so lonely. In our confraternity. Then come out a bit spreeish. Let off steam. Thing is if you really believe in it. Lourdes cure, waters of oblivion, and the Knock apparition, statues bleeding. Old fellow asleep near that confession box. Hence those snores. Blind faith. Safe in the arms of kingdom come. Lulls all pain. Wake this time next year."

A fairytale chair plants in your hair
How long can you hold on?
We possess what cannot be lost in a shipwreck. There is no goal, every moment is a mark.
Split time - every second every hour every day every night
I hope the magic never runs out
Apple pie, magic treacle jug, magic dust, fairy lust.
The heart of everything !!!!!!

I stand in a glass aisle
looking at you

Love at first ride,
I just got back from a 150 km weekend cycle trip in the beautiful Western Ghats. It was a tough first day, sun beating down on us and mammoth slopes. A Golden Oriole, Parakeets, open pastures, Fig trees and blossoming coffee bushes coupled with foggy views, dancing mist, excited cheering children, cows and pigs fueled my exhausted self.
An overcast day and lovely rolling terrain made for an easy second days ride. Hearty thanks to a great team of riders and organisers who made my first punishing wilderness trip a memorable one.
Everything a blur,
two days have felt like a year.
Tired, thirsty we detest faulty gear.
The times are-a-changing
sweat trickles
I crave a beer.
Inspired by my intense longing for fruits, hillbilly friend and sans protein diet are words to fill the ravenous pit.
Oh, Pumpkin
where is my munch kin!?
Oh silly Watermelon
my heart hath been stolen.
A hillbilly friend
not a villain or a felon
but an orrible far away cretin
bum, bum, bum
I long to see, I long to be
petals speak to us and trees sing green, yellow, blue
I wish upon the stars
sleep under their naked dark.
Unto the universe
I fly to you

Lobster dance
Hobbit hob
Maybe I dreamt it, maybe I did not.

"Sweet Thames, run softly till I end my song .... . ."
What better force than water, a river to beseech ? !
A profile picture, a memory, a poem, incense love
mermaids and sea monsters
Tall ships and golden sails
A place not marked on any map of this world,
under a Yew / fiery Maple tree :)
The floor becomes a sea and the bed a ship
They were like glass
They were like diamonds
They were like stars
our giggles
Fish swim over toes
scrabble tiles and puppies lure
river stones sweet songs sing
Do not fly away my little sparrow
a speck a peck
We sew with the fingers of fairies
a toothpick needle, wild flowers
embroidering whole stories,
I love words and their power

flaming farm day :)
Sage brush spindles, juniper bow + flat wood and piece of soapstone is all you need to make your own fire without a match stick or lighter. Oh, not to forget the 'kindle' nest one need make to place the gorgeous, glowing ember on and blow, blow, blow till flames lick !!!!!!!

No work, no money, no worry status no more :(
Cycling 20 km to school and back is keeping me a stubborn, gypsy, vacationer believer. Not to mention exhausted and exhilarated.

Here's a great thumbing book from the school library :)
You can use a cut carrot or potato, draw a round shape or make a blob but no other thumb print in this world is exactly like yours!!!!

sigh - kill ~*
To cycle in a city be warned
1. helmet hair
2. bad sun-dried skin
3. DEATH by "oh, my car or bike is superior to you"
4. blockhead pedestrians
5. Yes, mopeds do overtake from the left or dint you know ?!!
6. noise pollution
Hell yeah, there are advantages *
1. We love one ways and maneuvering
2. traffic lights and adrenaline
3. footpaths are my best friend AND
4. all the folk who cycle everyday to and fro irrespective of age or load
5. The sari cycling woman who made me want to clap :)
Tang would love to have a camera fixed to her handlebars!!
